This particular pair is made from poly/cotton batiste with a wide lace at the bottom and decorative satin ribbon. I have also made them in white eyelet; almost any light cotton fabric will work. These are a really great addition to any modern or historical wardrobe. They are cut very full, so while they look like a petticoat, they are actually pants and therefore provide a little extra coverage. The ribbon at the knee can be pulled up to change the petticoat into bloomers.
