Manon

Manon

One of the largest builds done during my seven years with San Francisco Opera, Manon was truly a lavish production. This particular year I was working as a stitcher/first hand on a men's wear team. Our team numbered 3-4 stitchers that year so I was responsible for between 1/3 and 1/4 of the coats (since I was neither the slowest or fastest stitcher). Each man in the chorus had a velvet coat with matching breeches and complimentary vest and trims. The designer, Thierry Bousquet, and draper, John Bishop were both wonderful to work with and truly opulent in their vision.
