Tricorn Hat

I started with a a big felt hat from the thrift store. I steamed and shaped its brim into a tricorn. After I had an idea of the shape I wanted, I wired and bound the brim and then finished steaming it into shape. The finial touch was the feather. The total cost for this project was minimal and it was great fun to steam the hat into something completely different.
