Sally Bowles Finale
Sally Bowles Finale
Although this dress was fairly simple from a draping stand point, it was a very difficult construction. Much of the dress was beaded so after thread marking the chiffon, it was stretched on a frame and then beaded by various hands. The artist was raised through a trap after making a quick change into this dress. The hem was carefully rigged to stay petaled on the floor without looking rigid. One of the grad students supervised the stitching and beading. I was responsible for the pattern and fitting and some problem solving.
