This is a Xandir costume from the television show Drawn Together. I made it for a fellow for Halloween. It is dressed on my female dress form because it is the only dress form that I have with legs. It fits because it was made for a thin man. The costume is composed of a suede top made from calf skin and the shoulder armor and shin armor are made from bull's hide. I added custom dyed grommets and lacing to the sides so the wearer could get in and out of it. Cartoon characters don't require zippers. The suede top and shin armor both have contrast piping. The gauntlets are made from bulls hide that I covered with the calf skin and have dyed elastic finger loops. I made the belt out of the bulls hide so that it would match the rest of the costume. The costume also includes a thong, loin cloth and arm bands. I was forced to change the color scheme slightly because the boots that were purchased for the costume where black instead of dark green and because of the availability of different colors and budget.
