The corset was made especially to be worn under a wedding dress. The coutil is custom dyed to match the brides skin tone as closely as possible. The bride had a few specific things she wanted help with. The wanted tummy control and a modern bust line rather than a period corseted bust line. This corset was designed to give her exactly what she needed on her big day. It comes just up under the bust (Image 3) giving additional support but is designed to be worn with a bra insuring that her bosom appeared natural and modern. The back it cut significantly higher to prevent any unsightly bra bulge. In addition to supporting her bosom to its best advantage it also add some waist definition. The top edge is finished with a vintage cotton lace, originally imported from France. The corset includes a busk, waist tape and triple stitched seams and custom dyed grommets in the back. A truly lovely and classy corset.
